- This is not something that can be overcome in the browser at your end.

- It *can* be prevented by the Web designer. If he takes the time to use the
- WIDTH=xx and HEIGHT=xx commands in his web page, your browser will know how
- much space to reserve for the graphics as soon as the page is loaded, and
- Ibrowse will open up with that much blank space in it, which will get
- filled in as the graphics download, and nothing will have to shift around
- as the graphics come in later.

- Hardly anyone does this, since it's a lot of work, and none of the
- web-designing software tools do it automatically. It requires the web
- designer to keep a list of the size of all his graphics elements and enter
- the data as each one is placed on the page. Quite tedious, indeed.
